During the 2-weeks CAMPH program, I participated in CMERC cohort preparation and survey，attended several lectures，learnt some basic Korean language, history and culture.

In cohort workshop and survey and lectures, I learnt rigorous and serious scientific attitude. Prof. Kim’s research group is so efficient that every seminar ended within 30min with every problem solved. In CMERC cohort, everyone did adequate preparation and everyone is very patient when doing the research. What surprised me most is the first day of 2019 CMERC cohort, there were just 2 subjects, but the whole research group were in the scene of the survey and did their job. Another point shows adequate preparation was they combined physical problems with sociology and mentality. Also, they have detected so many different kinds of biomarkers, which helps a lot in studying mechanism of NCDs.

We learnt some basic Korean language, I like it, so I decide to learn more Korean by myself. I hope I can talk in Korean fluently next time. By the way, our Korean teacher is so beautiful. We went to경복궁 and National central museum of South Korea. We learnt Korean history and culture, I have to say that Korean and Chinese culture are really alike. What’s more, I saw how strong-minded Korean are, there used to be so many wars in Korea, Korea admitted those sad history and keep striving to build the country, I admire the spirit.
