Today, East Asian countries, including South Korea, Japan, and China, which account for a great majority of the world's population, are facing a transformation into an aging society with decclining birthrates. Also, economically, the rate of growth is stagnant, and the need for system and reorganization to solve medical science and public health problems is felt.
As part of our efforts to nurture global talents in the medical science and health fields, we were selected for the CAMPUS Asia project hosted by the University Education Council of the Ministry of Education and participated from November 2016 to August 2021. The CAMPH project group has achieved sucess in several areas, including the establishment of a joint dual degree program between participating universities.
Based on the achievements of five years, our consortium is selected for the next stage of the CAMPUS Asia Plus project and will be participated in the international exchange program from September 2021 to February 2026. In particular, exchanges with ASEAN, which is Mahidol University of Thailand, will be actively promoted.
The institutional and economic support of the CAMPUS Asia Plus project will be provided to Yonsei University College of Medicine and graduate school students and faculty. Please have a chance to experience the medical science and health education environment of Japan, China, and ASEAN countries.
Through this CAMPUS Asia Plus project, medical system and policies that can solve global health problems transcend national and regional boundaries, and furthermore, we aim to nurture the next generation of researchers in the medical science and public healt field.
We look forward to your interest and participation.
